Bryce Solinger knew growing up that he loved baseball and would always want to play it which led him to the Arizona State Club Baseball Team. Bryce grew up playing baseball in Anaheim Hills California his whole life. He played on various different little leagues and travel ball teams. Bryce attended Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills where he was a two year varsity athlete after winning MVP on both his Freshman and Sophomore year respected teams. Bryce always knew he wanted to be a pitcher and pitched his whole life and hit too but once he came to high school he switched primarily to a pitcher only. Bryce's senior year at Canyon High School he helped lead his team out of the bullpen to a CIF Southern Section Championship along with a State Championship recording the last out in the State Championship Game. With Bryce graduating he knew he still wanted to play baseball but had always dreamed of going to ASU and the W.P. Carey School of business to study finance.

Bryce was disappointed he would have to stop playing the sport he loved until his buddy from High School Jake Scharber told him about how his older brother was playing club sports at Ohio State University and that Bryce could go and try out and hopefully try to make the team. “He told me about how most colleges have a club team so I did my research into it and saw ASU had a team and they were hosting tryouts the second week of school, I knew I had to be there and try out,” Bryce said. Bryce tried out and ultimately made the A squad for the club team becoming their starting pitcher as only a freshman. Bryce says he loves all the new people he has met and is so thankful for the opportunity to be able to pitch against other club teams and travel all over the country playing his favorite sport he always loved. Bryce is excited to see what the next three years on the team will hold for him and he's excited to add more players to the team next year and to only get better as his time at ASU goes on.
